As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. (13:2)

And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid [their] hands on them, they sent [them] away. (13:3)

For so hath the Lord commanded us, [saying], I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. (13:47)

--Epistle to the Romans--

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: (11:13)

That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. (15:16)
